Eric Newman

Mr. Newman practices law specializing in corporate, franchise and international distribution law.  Mr. Newman initially served as Staff Attorney to the US Court of Appeals, and then law clerk to the late Honorable J. Dickson Phillips Jr., Circuit Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the  Fourth Circuit.  He currently teaches Business Law and Constitutional Law at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  In addition Mr. Newman served as  Corporate Counsel for a large international banking group, and as General Counsel and Executive Vice President of a large restaurant chain, and was responsible for developing hundreds of restaurants including those in China, Central America and the  Caribbean.  He received his B.A. degree with honors in 1974 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he received the James Anderson award in English Language and Literature;  and his Juris Doctor with honors in 1977 from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as an editor of the North Carolina Law Review.  Mr. Newman has written for numerous professional publications and was a frequent speaker and contributor to various trade and legal groups in the areas of finance, franchise, restaurant, real estate and law.  During the course of his career Mr. Newman traveled numerous times through the years as a missionary to Eastern European nations and various South American nations, and continues those activities to this day.

Donald Gheen

Donald Gheen

Growing up in a Railroad town , I knew that I would follow in my Fathers foot step and work for Southern Railway, just as others in my family had.  Graduated high school in 1954 I went to work as a Machinist apprentice and diesel mechanic. I finished my time and became a machinist and diesel mechanic 1n 1958.  For the next year I was a maintenance mechanic repairing track replacement equipment, between Alexandria, Va. And Atlanta, Ga.   In 1960 I filled a position in Chattanooga, Tn. Later transferred to Atlanta. Ga.  In 1965 I was promoted to Locomotive foreman. In 1969 I was promoted to general foreman, moved to Macon, Ga. Duties now included freight car repair and inspection of trains. In 1971 Transferred to Charlotte, NC.  Now with more responsibility. In 1987 was promoted to Senior General Foreman ( the mechanical Department head) at Charlotte, N.C.  I retired in 1993 after 39 years of a very enjoyable and successful career.        During my time at Charlotte I had a wonderful Christian life my job allowed me to have a mission field at work but, also traveling to 18 countries serving the Lord.  I was an Elder and co-minister at the Lambs Chapel in Charlotte. Later spent 8 years as an Elder and co-minister at Crossfire Church in Winston Salem, N.C.    I have built lasting friendships with so many wonderful people, that has lasted over 45 years.  Jim Hill is one of those persons I have traveled and ministered with him, I count it a special blessing to be one of the board members just to see what wonderful things that our  Heavenly has available to us.

Dean Stein

Dean Stein

Dean Stein has been a His Heart Missions Board Member acting in the position of Treasurer since 2008.  He also has filled the roll of day to day financial administrator as needed when Jim Hill has been out of the country.  With over 25 years experience in both commercial and residential finance and real estate, Dean has been the Vice President of a multi-million dollar real estate development company, owned and operated The Stein Group Inc. securing loans for commercial development and Real Estate, and worked as a commercial lender for a local bank in our area.  Additionally, Dean is an elder at RiverLife Fellowship and the treasurer of their BOD, been the treasurer of several other ministry boards over the years and currently sites as treasurer for a ministry that reaches into Israel.
Byron Wicker

Byron Wicker

Byron Wicker has served as Lead Pastor for River Life Fellowship Church for over twenty-five years. A firm believer in the demonstration of the love, power, and presence of God in the church, community, and nations. Byron has ministered in five continents and is devoted to equipping and sending others out with the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Byron lives in Mt. Ulla, NC, with his wife, Becky. They have three married children and seven grandchildren.
William "Buz" Stepanek

William "Buz" Stepanek

William “Buz” Stepanek has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and is a PMP Certified project manager who held various positions at IBM over his 30 year career including Hardware Technical Lead, Product Manager and Program Manager.  Since leaving IBM, Buz continues to work as an IT Program Management Consultant.  Buz has been associated with Jim and HHM for over 25 years including graduating from as well as teaching at Christ’s School of Ministry taught in part by Jim Hill.

Jim “Santiago” Hill

Jim and his wife Cathy have been happily married since 1971. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren.  From the very beginning of their marriage they were committed to serve the Lord Jesus Christ together, and that has been quite an adventure.

They founded His Heart Missions when they moved to Argentina as full time missionaries in 1991. Prior to that time they served in various ministries and as pastors in the USA.

Jim currently is the International Director and Senior Pastor of His Heart Missions Fellowship, and has ministered in churches, conferences, seminars, and special events in over twenty nations on five continents, as well as directing many humanitarian projects.

He Loves to tell others about the things he has seen, heard, and experienced the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit doing in the nations for the glory of God.
